Emotions, when used correctly, can make us smarter than intellect alone. Research shows that emotions used wisely make us more effective in the workplace. Emotional intelligence research has shown it to be positively related to teamwork behaviour, job performance, and leadership. The new comprehensive assessment tool – Emotional Intelligence Skills Assessment (EISA) – identifies areas of strength and opportunity and provides a framework for understanding and improving one’s emotional and social functioning. The EISA yields accurate and intuitive results crucial in addressing organizational needs such as leadership development, talent development and retention, change management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

Learning Outcomes:

1.  Quickly and accurately measure EI.
2.  Provide a framework for discussion, coaching, and growth.
3.  How understanding EI will help your organization achieve its growth targets.
4.  The five factors of EI : Perceiving, Achieving, Managing, Influencing, Decision Making.
5.  Best practices, new ideas, case studies, and research related to EI.

In the new economy, human capital is a competitive advantage for organizations. Companies that provide strategic learning opportunities for their workforces will be the most successful in terms of growth, innovation and productivity.

  • The direct role that Emotional Intelligence plays in workplace performance at all levels.
  • How organizations determine key aspects of emotional and social functioning of their top talent in order to create targeted learning and development initiatives.
